Kudos to Mrs. Schiller for being innovative in planning how her students were using the MakerSpace today. Students worked in groups of 3-4 to accomplish a task of creating their version of the mechanical dog from the novel Farenheit 451.
Student 1: Gatherer
Student 2: Hunter
Student 3: Creator
Each student brought a specific skill to the group. Gatherers were in charge of close reading the text for descriptive language of the character. Hunters collected supplies in the MakerSpace to best represent the descriptive language. And lastly, the creator took the ideas and supplies to the next level by bringing their Mechanical Dog to life.
